Has Anyone Turned Their Crank Standing Desk Electric?

I’m really struggling with my old manual crank standing desk - adjusting the height is such a chore every single time. I’ve been wondering if it’s possible to convert it to electric without buying a whole new one. Anyone out there tried retrofitting? What actuators or kits did you use? Feeling pretty bewildered by the whole process!

Totally relatable - those cranks wear you out fast! Yes, retrofitting is straightforward and common these days. You replace the manual mechanism with a set of electric actuators for effortless adjustment. Start by measuring your desk frame accurately. A great solution is retrofit linear actuators https://www.progressiveautomations.com/en-eu/collections/retrofit - they include mounting hardware and sync perfectly. Setup usually takes just an afternoon, and the comfort boost is immediate. I did it myself and it’s been a total upgrade for my back!
