Leg soreness ruining my second workout
Lately my leg days have been pretty intense, heavy compounds, decent volume, and I’m stuck in a cycle where soreness carries over into the next session. I’m not skipping recovery basics: sleep is fine, food is clean, and I do some stretching, but it still feels like my legs never fully reset. At one point I ended up seeing mentions of oral steroids online on https://wellsfargocenterarts.org/, mostly in discussions about pushing recovery beyond natural limits. It got me thinking, without going to extremes, what actually makes a noticeable difference when you’re training legs hard twice a week?

For me the turning point was realizing I didn’t need to destroy my legs every session to make progress. I kept intensity high on key lifts, but stopped stacking too much volume on top of that. Recovery got way easier once I balanced that out.
