How has switching to natural remedies changed your overall health?

Lately I’ve been rethinking how I deal with my health overall. For years I would just reach for over-the-counter stuff whenever something felt off — headaches, stress, trouble sleeping. A few months ago I decided to try a more natural approach and started using herbal teas and a couple of plant-based supplements. I can’t say everything changed overnight, but I do feel like my body reacts more gently now, if that makes sense. Still, I’m not sure if I’m doing it right or just experimenting randomly. Has anyone here actually noticed a real difference after switching to natural remedies long term?

I had a pretty similar shift about a year ago, mostly because I got tired of relying on quick fixes that didn’t really solve anything. I started reading more about herbs and how they work, especially things like adaptogens for stress and energy balance. At some point I came across this guide on Best adaptogens for stress and it helped me understand what to try and why, without feeling like I was just guessing. For me the biggest change was consistency — it took a few weeks before I noticed anything, but sleep improved and I felt less wired during the day. It’s not magic, but it feels more sustainable.
