Improving Safety in Commercial Office Buildings
Hi everyone. Our company recently moved into a larger office building and we noticed that the number of visitors and deliveries increased quite a lot. During busy hours it becomes difficult to keep track of who enters different areas of the building. Management is discussing whether some type of professional security presence could help organize access and create a calmer environment for employees. I’d appreciate hearing how other offices handle similar situations.

Last year our building management explored Security guard services Portland, Oregon when we had similar concerns about visitor flow. They explained how trained guards can supervise entrances, coordinate access points and maintain general awareness inside the facility. Another useful aspect was that they can also deploy firewatch security guards if a property temporarily needs additional safety supervision. That combination made the whole workplace feel much more organized and secure.
