Woke up earlier than usual this morning and didn’t feel like making coffee yet, so I stayed on the couch with the laptop. A friend had sent a link to some Red Tiger game the night before and I finally opened it. The screen was full of little icons and the sounds were louder than I thought they’d be at that hour. I did a handful of spins, got a small line that paid almost nothing, and closed it when the kettle finally clicked. Still not sure if those are meant for short sessions or if I just picked a loud one.

I pay more attention to how games look on a big screen versus a phone. Some of them get cramped when you shrink them, symbols overlapping or text getting tiny. Played a few random ones at a friend’s place on his TV and it felt fine, plenty of space. On my phone later the same style looked busier. I don’t stick with any of them long enough to learn the features. Mostly just notice the colors and whether the buttons are easy to hit with a thumb. Different from the old fruit machines I remember in the corner of the pub, those were simple even when they were noisy.
